In empty halls, I hear my voice
A whispered echo, a haunting choice
To wander solo, through life's design
A fragile soul, with a heart that's mine
The city streets, a crowded space
Yet in the throng, I find a lonely face
A sea of strangers, with eyes that pass
No gentle touch, no loving grasp
The night descends, with shadows dark and deep
My heart beats slow, in a sorrowful sleep
The stars above, a twinkling show
A celestial display, that few may know
In this stillness, I search for peace
A respite from loneliness, a world to cease
From the ache within, a hollowed-out space
A longing for connection, a gentle, loving face
Memories of laughter, of joy and of tears
Echoes of moments, that calmed all my fears
But now in solitude, I face the night
A solitary figure, without a guiding light
But even in loneliness, there's a beauty found
A chance to reflect, to heal, to turn around
To find the strength, to carry on the fight
To emerge stronger, in the morning light
In the silence, I hear a voice so clear
A whisper of hope, that wipes away my tears
A reminder that loneliness, is not forevermore
That connection and love, can be found once more
So I'll hold on to hope, and never let it fade
And though loneliness may visit, it will not be my shade
For in the darkness, there's a light that shines so bright
Guiding me forward, through the lonely night.
