It's crazy how sometimes we ask questions we don't want to get honest answers to.
How we get into something we know will hurt us.
How we lie to ourselves when we, in fact, know the truth,
just to blur reality.

We try to forget what we'll always remember
and what will always haunt us.
How we try to understand why
when we know the reason why is "because it's us."

Life can be hard sometimes.
Sometimes the hardest truths are the ones
we already know deep down,
but struggle to confront.
