THE OCEAN I EMPTY FOR YOU

My Love,
Sometimes a thought drifts through my mind so quietly,
yet it leaves behind a satisfaction so deep it almost feels like a secret blessing.
It is the thought that I could pour out entire oceans of language
every word, every metaphor, every piece of beauty ever written
just to describe who you are…
and still, it would never be enough.
Because you are breathtaking in a way the world is not equipped to measure.
People may see you dressed beautifully, glowing, radiant enough to make a goddess jealous,
and the best they can offer is a simple,
“ you look beautiful.”
A drop of water in an entire ocean.
A whisper against a storm.
A compliment too small for a woman too extraordinary.
But me…
I see the fullness of you.
The way your presence shifts a room.
The way your laughter folds light into itself.
The way your essence is a universe that language tries and fails to contain.
I describe you in ways that, one day,
people might read and wonder how a single heart could feel so much.
How a single soul could translate emotion into words this vivid.
Because how could a plain
“You look beautiful”
ever suffice?
How could an ordinary
“I love you”
ever compete
when even language bows in surrender
to the way I speak about you?
You are not a sentence.
You are not a paragraph.
You are not a poem.
You are the reason poetry exists at all.
And I hope you carry this truth with you for as long as you breathe:
that someone in this world sees you in ways far beyond the surface,
adores you with a depth that defies vocabulary,
and will spend a lifetime writing just to catch up
to the way your existence feels.
Always,
SIMU
