SIMU: The Freedom of Poetry

True poets are not made… they are born.
Not from rhyme, not from meter,
but from a river of emotions,
an ocean of expression,
flowing through their very essence,
demanding release, demanding voice.
Poetry was made to run barefoot,
to feel the earth beneath it,
to run its hands through blades of grass,
to let the breeze brush its face
with that playful, familiar touch
of peace… of happiness
triggering emotions language can only stutter to name.
It was never meant to be caged
in houses of stanza and verse,
behind bars of form and structure.
Poetry longs for the rain,
for the night sky,
for the full, utter expression
that only freedom truly brings.
It is wind in the soul,
breath in the lungs,
pulse of being finding shape,
motion, voice.
A convergence of notions, motions, and emotions
collapsing into a singularity of pure expression.
Every line, every pause, every unspoken moment
is alive.
It moves the unseen,
stirs the forgotten,
awakens the world within us.
This is poetry not composed, but alive.
Not restrained, but free.
A reflection of the heart,
a mirror of the spirit.
A force that must find its form, its motion, its voice.
A Reflection from the SIMU Collection.
