Last night, while I slept, I lay in my bed, wrapped in the coziness of my room, and drifted off to a world so complicated. A clock fixed on 00:00 o'clock gazed upon a crowd of a zillion people, all standing in an unending queue. Each face was consumed by their own endeavors, every man to himself and his works.

I looked ahead and beheld a Man, whose face shone brighter than the sun, seated on a great white throne. As individuals stepped forward, He would search a book, shake His head sadly, and condemn the accused, whose name could not be found in the Book of Life. Some protested, "But I paid my tithe, Lord," "I served in your vineyard," "I won souls for your Kingdom," "I prayed and fasted," "I wrought wonders in your name," "I served you in truth and Spirit!" Yet, the response remained unwavering: "Sorry, I never knew you."

When my turn came, I walked confidently to the judgment bar, but my gut failed me somehow. The Savior looked over me, searched His book, and shook His head. The words "Sorry, I never knew you" cut deep. I protested, "But I paid my tithes, Lord, I served in your vineyard, I won souls for your Kingdom, I prayed and fasted, I wrought wonders in your name, I served you in truth and Spirit!"

The Savior listened, and for a moment, I saw sadness and pity in His eyes. As He set me on His left hand, His words came out like thunder: "Sorry, I never knew you, go and serve the one you served while on Earth." The condemnation was final. I was cast away, my world shattered.

I looked around and saw my family, clothed in white spotless garments, and crown upon their heads, singing joyful songs. My youngest child looked at me and smiled, saying, "Mummy, we still love you, but you can't be our mummy anymore." The swift wind that carried away the condemned picked me up, and I was taken away.

Suddenly, I woke up. I looked upon the clock, and it read exactly 00:00. I glanced around, seeing my husband sleeping peacefully beside me, my children sleeping soundly in their beds. I knew I had just had a dream, but I also knew what it meant and what I had to do.
