Some say she's a tall black woman with curves that will throw you into a dizzy haze
Others say she is fair skinned and lanky with a charm so strong you wouldn't dare look into her eyes
Even though no one had ever seen her we were content to live in the illusion of her existence, for her beauty was said to do unspeakable things to the hearts of men
TRUE LOVE IS DEAD AND CHIVALRY IS BURIED RIGHT NEXT TO HER
Every ear stunned at the cold words the messenger delivered
Even though no one had ever seen her we all hoped that some day we would
Be lured into a trance of her never ending comfort and abide in the solace of her embrace
Generations have rolled by and she has been reduced to a figment of fantasy
A fragment of our imagination
For no one truly knows if she's dead or alive
But every now and then there are rumours of her appearance
A siting here
A whisper there
An echo from afar
But the truth remains that she is gone, gone from this world
Only her soul lingers on, dancing in the hearts of those unafraid to love
How fortunate they must be to be grazed by her loving fingers
They live oblivious of the chaos that has followed her disapperance; a gross darkness of narcissism, betrayal, lust, and evil intent
