THE COSMIC RAIN OF FOREVER
I will rain notions on you
thoughts so alive they bend the spine of the universe.
I will rain motions on you
soft movements that teach the heavens new ways to sway.
I will rain emotions on you
until galaxies pause their spin
just to feel the warmth between my words.
I will rain affection on you
until dawn questions its own light.
I will rain expression on you
until silence breaks under the weight of beauty.
I will rain poetry on you
until language kneels in fury and awe,
jealous of the ways I touch you
with meanings older than creation.
For I do not love you in mortal fragments
I love you in wavelengths,
in gravity,
in the deep laws that hold existence together.
Every pulse of my devotion
teaches constellations how to tremble.
Every whisper of my longing
reshapes the horizon to fit your name.
Romeo and Juliet loved within the boundaries of tragedy
but I?
I love you with the architecture of eternity,
with the patience of ages,
with the tenderness of atoms learning how to hold hands.
Their love ended in silence.
Mine becomes the climate of the cosmos.
You are not a moment I adore;
you are the axis I orbit.
You are not the chapter of my becoming;
you are the scripture of my destiny.
Your existence is the blueprint
beneath every heartbeat I will ever own.
And if the stars dim,
if creation collapses,
if time folds into its final hush
my love will still reach for you,
not as memory,
not as myth,
but as the very equation
that teaches eternity how to exist.
For forever will one day confess
to whatever comes after existence:
“I learned myself
from the way he loved her.”
