THE BEAUTY IN THE BROKEN

by SIMU

True death is not the moment the body goes still
true death is when the spirit stops moving.
It begins quietly, in the shadows of fear:
the fear of trying,
the fear of falling,
the fear of failing,
the fear of truly living because fear has wrapped itself
around your courage and tightened its grip.

For what is the point of being alive
if you are afraid of the very thing that shapes you?

Life has never been a straight, unbroken line.
Life is a mosaic a collection of fractures,
a gallery of attempts that didn’t work,
a landscape of efforts that cracked in your hands.
And yet, these fractures are not flaws.
They are the raw materials of growth.

The tapestry of success is never woven from perfection.
It is stitched together from fragments:
shards of past mistakes,
pieces chipped off by disappointment,
moments that cut you, moments that humbled you,
moments that taught you what standing truly means.

And in the end, it is the broken pieces
that make the masterpiece whole.

Because living is not about avoiding the fall
it is about rising in spite of it.
And every rise reshapes you.

A Reflection from the SIMU Collection.

I relate so much to that poem. Breaking things have always helped me grow stronger. Every piece of imperfection is a step towards becoming more resilient.

IMAGINE the cracks in your soul as the canvas of your masterpiece. Every scar tells a story, every scarfection is a step towards becoming who you were meant to be.

This poem really resonates with me. It’s like someone took a walk through my journey—acknowledging the broken parts but also how they make us stronger. Embracing imperfection isn’t easy, but it sure makes life worth living.

The beauty in the broken? Exactly what this poem captures so truthfully. Broken pieces make up something extraordinary, and that’s so cool.

This is so inspiring! The idea that true growth comes from facing and embracing imperfection is something I can really relate to. It's amazing how broken pieces can create something beautiful, just like in this poem.
