THE ARCHITECT OF SELF
Most people are other people.
Their choices are echoes.
Their passions are borrowed.
Their convictions are shaped by whatever the world applauds loudest.
They follow the noise,
convinced it is their voice.
They wear the names of strangers on their backs,
idolize lives they will never live,
and celebrate dreams that were never theirs to begin with.
They inherit desires instead of discovering them.
They walk in cages they cannot see,
and call it freedom.
Most live their entire lives inside a script they never chose.
But a few
a rare, almost mythic few
step beyond the circumference of expectation.
A few choose based on resonance, not pressure.
A few love what speaks to them,
not what earns applause.
A few listen inward,
deep enough to hear the quiet architecture of their true self.
These are the architects of identity
the ones who refuse to outsource their becoming
to the weight of the world’s assumptions.
To live your own life is not an act of rebellion.
It is an act of awakening.
It is clarity.
It is courage.
It is freedom earned by awareness.
Only a few ever discover themselves.
Even fewer choose to live as what they discover.
