How hauntingly beautiful it is to hold scars–
What a privilege to have,
If I hold your hand and it bleeds in mine, the best I can do is cover them, and you, watch them and together care for them,
The beauty in the world emphasized on by your scars!
How could I not fall in love–
If I hold your heart like I do my fear,
Trust me lover you’ll be mine to hold in all the places you shy from and give your world back the colours you think you love but “too bright” you say..
I’ll find the parts you hide–
I’ll be gentle in whispering words such as "The world waits on you",
So today or tomorrow, really, come out already, allow the artists a chance to recreate the beauty that your scars are, every unique pattern they are–
The stories they hold might be the most beautiful yet!
Allow the poets the chance to feel–
it’s air, to say the least,
You gatekeep such beauty, go wild let there be stories long, witty, scandalous, more scars, more beauty
You dance with your demons, what’s a little scar to embrace?
You want the beauty, why again do you shy away from it’s rawest form?
Oh–
I’ll also kiss your scars If I may add; sorry I forgot to say,
I know beauty and it’s details in details, the beast and the beauty,
I’ll sing your monsters to sleep if you prefer them quiet.
Scars! what a concept to hold! Beauty etched on skin,
