PIECES OF EACH OTHER 🧩
We are pieces of each other, scattered across time,
Different faces, different stories, yet the same silent ache behind the eyes.
Our roots entwined beneath the surface, invisible bonds that tie,
A network of relationships, a web of life.
When someone speaks their truth, it lands in us like it was our own,
A recognition of soul to soul, a knowing that we're not alone.
We walk around thinking our wounds make us separate,
But maybe they're the thread that binds us, a shared humanity.
In the quiet moments, when words capture what we've been carrying in silence,
We feel seen, we feel heard, and our hearts begin to make sense.
Of the struggles, the triumphs, the trials, and the pain,
We're reminded that someone, somewhere, has felt the same.
Perhaps being human isn't about fixing each other,
But about feeling something real when someone else puts words to what we've been carrying in silence.
It's about recognizing the shared experiences that connect us,
And finding solace in the knowledge that we're not alone.
