Nigeria’s Silent Killer
Corruption, a malevolent monarch, reigns supreme over Nigeria's landscape. Its dark presence seeps into every pore of the nation, infecting every stratum, every institution, and every soul.
With tentacles of greed and deception, Corruption ensnares its victims, slowly suffocating the life out of them. Its venomous fangs inject a toxic cocktail of bribery, embezzlement, and nepotism, rendering its hosts helpless and dependent.
In the streets, Corruption masquerades as a cunning thief, stealing the very fabric of society. Potholed roads, crumbling infrastructure, and decrepit public services are the scars it leaves behind, a constant reminder of its pervasive presence.
Within the hallowed halls of power, Corruption assumes the guise of a master puppeteer, manipulating the strings of influence and control. Officials, once sworn to serve the public, now dance to the tune of Corruption's insidious melody, their actions orchestrated to perpetuate the virus's grip on the nation.
In the marketplaces, Corruption dons the mask of a sly trickster, conjuring illusions of prosperity and wealth. Traders and merchants, enticed by its promises of easy riches, engage in a frenzy of price-fixing, false advertising, and outright theft, further entrenching the virus's hold on the economy.
As Corruption continues its relentless march across Nigeria, the nation's very fabric begins to unravel. Institutions crumble, trust is shattered, and hope begins to fade. The question echoes through the desolate landscape.
