Night-blooming Jasmine, the queen of the night,
Shared a tender moment before sunrise.
Lovely kisses, the sweet breath of blossoms
The stars witnessed the moon’s smile.
In jealousy, the cock called for the sun to rise,
To interrupt their wondrous meeting.
Yet still, it is another beautiful day
A morning run, as royalty calls for the people’s gaze.
A golden-footed dreamer steps in at dawn,
A gentle, playful son sent by the moon,
To merry with the flowers,
And put a smile on everyone’s face.
