If I said, I'd write about love ,
Then I'd be lying about everything I'd say In the poem
Because I am no lover girl
Neither have I fell selflessly in love with someone, ever.
Therefore, I shall write about solitude
An area I'm well versed, of which I can compose a multitude .
Oftentimes, solitude is considered an act of reservation
from fraternization.
An act of not liking people or making meaningful connections
Why can't you just let people in?
They'd say...
A detachment from the world surrounding,
An ugly habit.
But I, who has seen the beauty of being alone
The peace
The satisfaction
The color splash inspiration that comes from Being alone
A burst of ideas
That are a zillion times
productive then mere gossip, small talks and chit chats.
In solitude,
There's no drama
There's no disrespect
There's no betrayal
There are no expectations
There are no excuses
There are no explanations
There's no need for an active conscience,
In solitude there's laughter
There's calm
There's warmth
There's contentment
There's safety
There's self love.
There is comfort!
