Purple,
My Sour Flower,
Is she purple or is she grey?
With a tendency to go astray,
But you are loved by me
My should-be purple flower,
I will catch you before you fall
Is she purple or is she grey?

"She is too free,
With thoughts too wild,
And Hands too longing" they said.
But if it means anything- My Lavender-
Do not feel your unique mannerisms are
Too much for the world to hold.
Your laugh is loud
Until your colours show and it will be music to them.

It started to happen without notice
When the threaded beads around her waist
Began steadily tying eyes adoring it.
Her hand-crafted love was thick like her gloss,
Difficult to clean off even thinnest skin.
She was slippery now,
Slipping through the fingers holding too tight.
They were falling in love
When Lavender's party began,
If it means anything; she was a lover before.
