I wish you a long life because you’re funny and smart and kind
I wish your wishes come true
And I wish that within your wishes I lie

Congratulations on making it to another year
And to us for finding each other when we did
May you grow older
And may we grow closer

I’m sorry the poem I wrote for your birthday never got to you and all that did was "happy birthday"
There was so much I wanted to say, so much I had to say
I took to my diary instead and you have to know I never was a coward,
It’s the things you make me feel that are really scary,
and I’m so stuck up with my feelings
This could be as much as I admit, I hope you like it.
