Hi, how is it going?
Had this with me for months and just thought to share it now. Hope you like it :)
How does one get over that feeling?
How do you grieve?
What are the questions that need answers?
And the ones we’re too scared to ask?
Do you just wake up one day and forget?
Do you ever get the luxury of feeling nothing
—even for a second—
without remembering?
Grief remembers.
Not just the loss.
But the love.
The laughter.
The late-night fights and
the early-morning silence.
The “yes.”
The “no.”
The “maybe.”
The things we said
and the things we didn’t.
Grief is a thief—
not of memory,
but of peace.
It takes the words we never said:
“I love you.”
“I’m proud of you.”
“I’ll be there.”
“You have my word.”
It leaves a void—
a missing piece in the puzzle
you can’t replace.
Grief will make you remember.
But here’s the real question:
What will it make you remember?
