FRACTURED INNOCENCE

Fractured Innocence
The weight of false accusations suffocates me,
a slow-motion avalanche that buries my truth beneath a mountain of deceit.
Every word a surgical strike, every glance a judgmental verdict,
I'm a casualty of assumption, a prisoner of doubt, locked in a cell of suspicion.
In the court of public opinion, I'm tried and convicted without evidence,
my character assassinated, my name a synonym for shame and incompetence.
Oh, the thrill of speculation! The joy of jumping to conclusions!
Let's crucify this sinner, and revel in their misery!
But what about the facts? Do they matter when the narrative's already been written?
Or are they just inconvenient truths, dismissed with a wave of the hand?
I'm a maze of emotions, a labyrinth of pain,
trying to find my way out of this toxic game of blame.
The world watches, voyeuristic and detached,
as I'm dissected, analyzed, and condemned without a fair trial.
They feast on my misery, like vultures on carrion,
their hunger for sensationalism, insatiable and unrelenting.
I'm a spectacle, a sideshow freak, a cautionary tale,
a reminder of the dangers of being wrongly accused and shamed.
The verdict's already in, the sentence already served,
my reputation lies in tatters, my dignity observed.
