I never asked for it
It came crawling to me
It didn't force me
It just appeared pityful
A rejection would hurt
The innocent face, a disguise
I wish I saw through it
I wouldn't have compromised
My yield pains
I should have walked away
That would have been unme
Yet this pain would have been evaded
I'm past them
To the temptations I no longer crumble
A little madness gave me sanity
Food and poison
I know the difference
