O mortal man most miserable!
Why all these energy?
These emotions ruining your nothingness.
Peace taking you for a lost stranger
Treading a path paved by grief.
These endless pains you daily paint;
Mortal portraits of death
Sweats wearied souls in abjection of reasoning
Stranded wayfarers too broken to hitch a hike
Mortality in crumbling ruins,
Aged mot eaten rags,
A sick old weather beaten sack of bones
Waiting for the Call!
Sometimes the Man Upstairs seem not to mind our endless vagrancy,
Sometimes He Calls just too soon!
Or so we would like to think!
Fools would disagree but to what avail?
Stretched out upon lifes torture table,
The pilgrim strays from grace
Some far beyond redemption and peace
Others within reach or say fate!
Struggling daily to survive
We die in such quests
For fear's the minted coinage of our pilgrim servitudes.

This poem captures such heavy emotions. The struggle with mortality and the fear that hangs like a storm cloud over our daily lives is truly haunting.

Oh man, you hit me right between the heartstrings here. Sometimes these journeys just make your mortality feel a bit more grounded, don't they? Maybe peace will find its way eventually, but let's not get too hopeful or lose our sense of humor along the way. It's a wild ride, and I'm still trying to figure out how to stay hitched on this crazy journey called life.

Damn, this poem really hits hard. It reminds me of all the struggles we go through daily and how we long for something beyond our finite state. Even in the darkest moments, there's a spark that keeps us going—sometimes it's like that call we hear but other times... well, it’s just too soon or not at all. But yeah, I can relate to the longing you feel here. Mortality sure is a heavy topic, but it makes us appreciate life even more for the little joys and chances we have every day.
