So, I mentioned starting something new in my previous post, and it’s been exciting, even though it sometimes feels like a lot to handle.
The beginning was shaky. I didn’t fully understand what I needed to do, and it kind of felt like that “what you were taught in class vs. what you meet in the real world” moment.
The internship I did to learn this skill was amazing—hands-on and practical—but the real thing hits differently. You just have to figure things out as you go, and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.
There are days I feel like, “I don’t have this,” and honestly, I’ve thought about withdrawing a few times. But I’m still here, trying my best, trusting God, and learning along the way.
These past two weeks have been good. I’ve gained some interesting insights and new offers that made me feel satisfied and thankful.
Anyway, I think I’m going in circles, so I’ll stop here.
About my books—I really want to complete my work for today on time so I can contribute properly to the other internship I have going on. It wouldn’t feel right to leave my team hanging. It’s not a paid internship, but the knowledge and experience are worth it.
Back to my writing—I’m hoping to complete a chapter (or at least half) of one of my books today. Progress is progress. I’m still working on the second book in the Love Me Now anthology series, and I’m genuinely excited about how it’s shaping up. It’s going to be a banger; I can feel it!
Maybe this post doesn’t sound as lively as my other ones—maybe it’s because I just woke up or I’m just calm this morning—but I’m good, and I hope you all are too.
