The things I used to do
As a toddler crawling around was the first thing I learned The smiles and giggles on my mum's face were my fuel As a child running around was a quest This I do mostly to impress Puberty came and took away all I held dear I became grumpy and watch my mum nag The things I used to do, I do no more The joy of crawling now babyish The excitement in running around now childish. Adolescence promise to be better Yet I just couldn't agree with my mother Life picture became clearer And I wondered if ...
