My last throwback
The year coming to an end Some achievements mend Can't make me forget How much I have bent Twisted all round Some dumb and profound Best moments Mixed with some torments Such is life Tap a high five Soldier on to better decisions As we count down the resolutions Throwing back the old Going down with the mould This year's final lap I take a final nap Awaiting for another grand year With lots of lessons here and there A new year unfolds Waiting for what it holds #poetry
My setback
I wanted to quit Giving up seemed to be the only option Tired and weary Everyday I had to push myself No one else would have anywat I had to be my own anchor Sweat and tears Worry and fears Searching for my purpose Once I got back to my track I set for my comeback Trusting the process Making every progress Every step of grace I embrace My setback will be better Growth from the rest As I bring out the best Looking forward to a bright future Which I must insure #poetry
